i used to go to church for enlightenment...then i went to church because of a certain girl...last sunday i was at church and i thot God smiled down on me a little. i met this guy named chuck (not his real name) and chuck asked me what i do for a living and i told him my situation. he said that i might be interested in his business....long story short we meet and he begins by asking about my dreams. he then shows me his business plan:
the independent ownership plan and
the term: private franchising
the name of the company is Quixtar...the parent company is called Alticor, The same people who brought us Amway
Quixtar, amway and what ever else comes along is multi-level marketing of products that goes from the manufacturer, thru a private franchise ( namely you or i) to the consumer. (they use the word prosumer...a combo of producer=$$$ and consumer))
the bottom line....in order for me to be a successful private franchise, i have to "help" other people become private franchises. now this is all legitimate but the people at the top will always be making more than the people at the bottom because they are making money off you, a little off the products they sell you, the motivational materials they sell you...they kick back checks to you for the more people you get involved but...is it worth it? will you get rich like they promise?
"would $60,000 change your life? how about $250,000?"
so, i had asked chuck for more info and he invited me to a meeting this friday night. after doing some research online (msnbc.com,alticor.com, and quixtar.com) i decided not to go to the meeting.
chuck called me less than 30 minute ago to give me directions to the meeting.
"chuck, i checked out the website and i am no longer interested...i've seen this before and i'm looking for something more stable..."
"what mosfozzy, like a job? i should have qualified you better, i thot you were sharper than that."
isn't it amazing how these evangelicals get so upset when you don't agree with their mind set (brain wash).

I used to go to church for the stories but then they developed into culture bashing and brainwashing so I stopped.
