It's been 5 months since my last post. Funny.
I'm kind of disgusted with the idea of a community that is born of art and culture and beauty being consumed by its own virtues and spit out as a ball of racy Myspacers mixed with somehow outsider angst AND elitist snobbery.
Thinking of beauty as a parasite is almost soothing, as though that thing I always thought was wrong with the world but couldn't quite place has a name.
The idea of displaying some of the sexiest pictures on the planet and then excluding those that just want to look at pictures of beautiful naked women and not participate tells me that the term "lurker" was coined by someone who forgot what it was like to look in from the outside.
How real is this place anyway?
