Well Happy Mothers Day to all of ya out there. I am off to visit with my Mom and my Grandma. Went to Target last night to get a card and wrapping stuff, and bloody Target didnt have ANY Mothers Day cards for actual Mothers. WTF!! Yes I know night before mothers day what do you expect. But I usually buy my cards day of or day before, and never have I seen a store completely out.
Did get my mom some nice gifts, gift card to Bath and Body Works, and a teddy bear from Build-A-Bear (Hey she likes this kind of stuff). I felt like an incredible fool in there buying the bear. If you have never gone, you take an empty teddy bear, and they stuff it for you. THey put a heart in the bear, which you have to do a hokey pokeyish dance with, and then you dress it up, name it, and the whole process is made worse by the Hordes of little children running around all crazy with their half naked teddy bears.
Still haven't heard about the job I interviewed for. I know the county is notoriously slow, but I am guessing I didn't get it. My current job I got the offer letter 4 days after the interview.
4 more days of labor then I am off for 10 days. Ahh Sooo looking forward to it. Do not have any plans, because of that interview and potential starting a new job, didnt want to have to cancel anything. So the only thing I have going on is sitting outside a movie theater for 6 hours or so for Episode 3 (on my birthday no less). The anticipation of the final movie of something that has deeply affected my life, along with the contemplation of what it means to be 31 should make for an interesting evening.
