I've been watching a lot of anime after a long break (several years) only to find that I LOVE nerdy things. Overall, I already kn ew this, but if anyone could recommend some retro games or (preferably modern) anime, I would love you forever! ^u^

@pyrdaemon I saw Titan and liked it well enough. Several friends of mine/reviews I've seen have turned me away from SAO, but I'll give it a look for myself.

I really enjoy it, it's worth forming your own opinion on. It has some really great unexpected twists, the characters are fairly complex and grow and change a good deal. One thing I really enjoy about anime is how emotionally gripping it can be for some of them and this one definitely has some powerful moments. It gets you to care about the characters and with anime they might actually kill a main character or two so you never know. Last time I enjoyed something as much as this I think was Deathnote, but SAO is tons more my style and action vs suspense/thriller but it does have some really gripping episodes. From the first season I didn't quite expect half of what came out of season II it's been lots of fun and I'm more excited about the next one than I thought I'd be.
