my new year?
not so bad.
dinner and bar hopping in the lower east side with friends I hadn't seen for along time.
unlike boston, it's not hard to have fun in a bar in nyc if you don't drink. this has only strengthened my resolve to return to my ancestral homeland.
well that and the fact that nyc gets an average of 22.3" of snow per year, whereas boston gets 46.1".
it's kinda shitty to sleep on a cement floor though, i must remember not to do that again. I'm not 18 anymore, so waking up with a backache was inevitable.
