Here's a shorter one:

It's become somethings of a Fringe truism that something will always happen to your stuff in Winnipeg (ask danny_g to tell you the story) and this year was no exception. Rachelle and I don't have a vehicle, but I did manage to lose my cell phone in a public washroom after leaving it there for 15 whole minutes.

Now I'm cut off from the world! I'm almost at the end of a 3-year contract and not having a phone leaves me feeling naked. I'm part of the problem! If anyone has a spare handset kicking around and can reach me on tour or in Calgary, it would be deeply appreciated.
