Well, it's looking up!

Things happen for a reason.

Last night, I left chat all pissed off about my pending birthday. I went to the bar to drink my face off alone and wallow in self destructive misery. When I got there it just so happened to be the Christmas party for my old crew at the firehouse! It was so nice seeing everyone, having drinks, they invited me to have dinner with them. It was really a good time. At midnight, we all had a shot for my birthday... this was interesting since the Battalion Chief really didn't need any more to drink. lol

I guess it's true that the brotherhood transcends all.

Now, I get to spend my birthday night at work with an old friend, a great partner! Maybe we'll do a couple good calls, that'd be nice.
