i'm sorry about your dobie. i had my friend read the rainbow bridge poem at my dog's memorial party last weekend. we also played mazzy star's look on down from the bridge. for some reason it seemed like the perfect song from the pup's point of view to say goodbye to us.

i can't say it gets easier because for me it hasn't... but i still wish you well. xx

Dobies are my favourite. I let one go in '04. He was with me from age 19-34. I know people say it's not the same as losing a child. Although I do understand that, all I can say is, "To me ... it is." Soon I will have to do it again.

My mind tells me the days have gotten easier. Something my heart has yet to be convinced. I guess it gets easier, some days more than others.
