I thought last night was gonna be easy and smooth. Well...I was very wrong. The show attracted a ton of trend hippies. That was a pain in the ass alone...then all hell broke loose. A sewage pipe busted in the kitchen and flooded the downstairs bar. The bar was evacuated on it's busiest night. The water then busted in the security basement and came shooting out flooding everything. We had to close the bathrooms in the whole building...and the show was sold out, So you can imagine the chaos that was happening. My manager, my coworker, and myself were having to get the water up and out. Fucking Sewage water...gross as hell. The plumber called the city. It was the city's fault. The clogging was 50ft across the street. They're digging up the street today and the HazMat guys are decontaminating the place. It sucks. So, the show may be canceled tonight. Bad news...I want the hours and what if this takes a while to fix? Good news...I havent had a saturday to go out with my girl for a looooong time. So it might be a good thing. Yeah. Did you know those guys get paid $80 hr to do this kind of stuff? I was getting paid 10% of that to do the same job. Underpaid?...I think that's fair to say. My underpaid ass is gonna have a good night tonight though.
