So I've been doin the stockbroker training shit the last couple weeks. Im applying to alot of bars as well. If anything, I think that this job has given me a new more focused direction in my life. Our trainer guy told me something today that will stick with me "There are two ways to success (in general) One is to go out and find something that you enjoy doing and make money doing it. Two is to take what knowledge you have of something and have the enthusiasm to make something happen with it." He was saying that the problem with most people having jobs they hate is that no one gives them the chance or direction to do what they'll love. So most people end up doing something to get by. Most live by others rules and not their own. We all thought about how riduculous it is that people spend the better part of their days, weeks, lives doing something that they hate and dont get rewarded for. It makes no sense. It's a horrible existance that noone should bare. I dont want to be part of that anymore. I want out so bad. I just want to start going in a positive direction with my life. I think I'm heading there. It's all about progress baby, whether it's baby steps or giant leaps.
So in good news, I had a great weekend with my girl. It felt soooo good to have that time to do what we have been wanting to. I see that this is how our lives are meant to be. We walked all day, found the guy who we want to tattoo us, saw friends I havent seen in years, drank, went to a show, and enjoyed the time together. It was fucking much needed and appreciated.
I look forward to more weekends like this. Till then...
(I'll add questions later tonight. just in a rush right now
