I think job hunting is among the top things I hate doing. I've been doing this since November. Im getting very sick of it. Actually Im done talking about it today...its starting to make me wanna puke on myself.
So in other news...I keep thinking about something that happened at the SG burlesque show. This lady dropped an ungodly amount of money in front of me and she didnt even notice. No one noticed except me. There was At Least $700 there in front of me. I stop her and help her and the man she was with pick up the money. It was hand fulls of money no small bills and alot of hundreds. Right now me and my girl need money and That would have been a godsend had I just taken it. So it ends up she says thanks guy says nothing and they dont even buy my girl or me a drink. I seriously have this theory that I am paying back some bad karma for this life and a few before. Me and my girl talked about how we are good people who have had bad periods in our life. But that we havent done near as much bad as we seem to be paying for. So I figure that due to that good deed last week, we are way over the top on the karma level. Let the cup runneth over...we are more than ready.
My music preferences for the week are "God Speed you Black Emporer" "Trans Am" "Mogwai" "Radiohead" "Queens of the Stonage" and "Talvin Singh"
The first two mostly though. But they have that feel that Im into right now. Oh shit... I allmost forgot my favorite for the week. Actually it's one of my overall favorites "Archers of Loaf". I feel like all of this music is full and rich enough with emotion and intrumental range that it fullfills my anemic sort of need for a self spirtuality and drive. I dont mean that in any kind of organised religion or even god related spirituality. Just self kind. So, on that note I leave those who have read my overextended ranting with some inquiries...
1) What music,bands, artists have played a role in your life or help you focus on thoughts/emotions you have?
Mine is Godspeed you black emperor, Bright eyes, Neutral Milk Hotel, and some instumentals from a couple of artists
2) What are weird things that make you comfortable or at peace?
Mine is fans or moving air, being alone outside during a storm, and dark big buildings made of stone and metal (gothic I guess) but very big and high ceilings, and the ocean when the weather is bad.
3)If you could pick a fictional character to be what would it be? Mine is Indiana Jones or Peter Pan minus tights.

1. The Walkmen "We've been had" has done me a lot good lately.
2. driving really helps me to unwind. when things get really bad i just get in the car and drive for a few hours and then get a motel in whichever strange small town i find.
