We're almost out of here. Portland is going to be good for us...I know it. I'm not sad at all to leave this place. There's just absolutely nothing here for us anymore. I feel that when you live in Alaska it's like your life is on hold. Nothing changes or happens or benefits us in anyway here. You just dont feel like you're really living. I need options and change in my life to feel alive. I just feel like Im getting older here. Older, dumber, and generally worse. It's as if people deteriorate here. There is just no stimulation here for the most part. You get a little bit of summer and every once in a while something fun or new, but generally there's nothing else. And THAT is why we are leaving. The trip itself is going to be great. I really look forward to going through Canada. I want to spend a day in Vancouver. There's some hotsprings I want to find as well. Well off I go...
