I went with my sister today to get new tattoos. It's been so long since I got ink... I was pretty thrilled. My sister got a copy of a tattoo that I have on my arm - on her ass cheek. I was pretty honored that she thinks so highly of me she wanted to show it forever. Stoked about that. Not sure if the placement has any significance, though...
I've been reading essayists almost exclusively as of late. I tried to dive back into some classics with all of this free time I've got on my hands, but have apparently lost far too much focus to plow through old dry lit. Essays are within my threshold for paying attention, and when they're done well can be very satisfying to read.
Aside... does anyone want a Nook Color for dirt cheap? I bought it months ago right before learning that my little sister bought me an ipad just for the hell of it... it's got a couple of books on it, one of which is a collection of essays called "Knockemstiff" that will blow your mind. It's just collecting dust here.
Other things that kinda kick ass are:
- I just learned that they make coconut milk ice cream. Why the fuck didn't I know this before now? So much lost time.
- Sam Adams Octoberfest (beer is too damn good to give up)
- Sons of Anarchy
- Sleep
- My ex finally listened to the all of the concerned voices spewing sage advice and is seeking treatment for some serious shit. I am highly pleased, and continue to support her as best I can. She's a cool chick.

Thanks, man... I figured it would either get bought or at the very least, ruin the theme idea for anyone else to use. I was sort of worried that it was too heavily themed and cinematic... but, it's HST... We had to go all out.
