Sitting in my room in Indy at a hotel. My band has played 5 different shows thus far this weekend. One more to go and then I can head home. The next two weeks are free for me so I can relax a bit. I've got some drawing and painting to do. I hope to fuck that I can find the time to do it. Somehow, after a month of shows, I have a feeling that I'll need a bit more than a few weeks to fully recover. If any of you have ever played in a band you'll know what I mean....
Tuesday I might be graced with a visit from my lady friend Arien. Hopefully we can get something done during her visit. I am exhausted, but seeing her always lifts my spirits. it's good to be around kindred spirits. It's a boost of energy.
I'm going to be heading off to see my friend Justin Tauch who is going to be tattooing the Dark Lord of the Sith himself on my arm on Friday afternoon. I'm working with him on designing a half sleeve themed around Vader, Boba Fett and some other Star Wars badasses. The sketch we've worked up is amazing, it even has the Death Star in it. Ohhhh.... I can't wait!
