4 years. Has it really been that long? It’s hard to believe sometimes. Then again it’s not so hard at times. Occasionally there are families that have that one person who holds it all together, who keep everyone talking. When they pass, everything seems to just change. When my mom passed away, everything changed. Everyone stopped talking to one another, and people moved on. This holiday season, try to keep in mind that those we love are not a convenience, they are a treasure. They’re not here forever, no matter how much we hope and pray they will be. This Christmas, remember to tell your mother, father or those closest to you that you love them. Spend some valuable time with them, because much like everything in life, it doesn’t last forever.
