Goodness, how crazy it has been!

HP OOTP: Movie 5 was actually good! I get annoyed with 3 and 4 because of the director's decision to add meaningless scenes and get rid of key plot lines, but 5 (although it did get rid of key plot points, so read the books) was actually a very well put together movie. As a bit obsessive HP fan, I was satisfied with the direction.

HP DH: Book 7

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

Man! How fabulous was the book? I was so upset that she killed Hedwig (and Mad-Eye) in the beginning, however I guess with all their camping and trying to remain elusive, a snowy owl would've been a bit of an eye-sore for the trio trying to stay incognito. Also, it was her way of saying I'm just going to kill a whole shitload of characters, so watch out! Poor Dobby!!! I was sooooo sad that he was killed by Bellatrix, but GO MOLLY WEASLEY!!! WAY TO STICK IT TO HER!! As much as I love love her as a villain, I'm glad that Molly got to kick her torturing ass! Harry as a horcrux seemed far-fetched to me before... but now it makes perfect sense, of course! A bit on the melodramatic ~ Jesus type stuff ~ however, I'll forgive her because it was a fabulous book, even though the ending was a bit cheesy. C'mon, it's a kids book!!!

Poor George, how is he going to survive without his twin? I always thought that being twins, they had a special power as the two of them combined, kinda like Captain Planet, only just Fred & George.... Now what? Is George's powers diminished? He wasn't alluded to in the ending, so was he able to pull himself together and go on? Or was he somehow partially destroyed by the death of his twin?

AAHHHHH!!!! J.K. definitely left some stuff in the open, like what the trio's occupations were in the end and what Harry's parents did. However ~ she did say that she was going to do a HP Dictionary sometime in the future, which I will TOTALLY anticipate.

Ah, I love LOVE love Harry Potter.

So, other notes:

SOMEONE TRIED TO BREAK INTO MY HOUSE!

I went to the A^2 on Monday night for one of my girlfriend's birthday's and I came home on Tuesday to my screen on one of my two windows that open with screens hanging out the side of my house!

SSSSSOOOOOOOO FREAKY!!!!!!!!!!

They didn't actually get in *thank goodness* so my guess is that since my alarm didn't go off, Apollo started barking and they decided not to chance it. Man.

I've had that window stay open for the past two summer's that I've lived here, and now I'm afraid to open it!!!! My dad went and got one of my storm windows fitted for a screen and we're going to try it tomorrow (for my cute little fifties windows in my bedrooms), but it totally freaked me out. Last night I woke up at 4:30 because I heard a crash that I would normally have attributed to my kitties which it was but I turned all the lights on and crept out of my bedroom to the hallway with my phone in my hand ready to dial 911 and Ginko had just toppled over my recycling can in my kitchen! I guess it'll be a while before the paranoia stops that I'm going to get raped and gutted in my own home *please G-d, don't let this happen. Thanks*

Well, I am uber-excited for The Simpson's Movie tomorrow night!!! Can't wait to see it, I'm sure it's going to rock!!!

xoxo

I can finally make a report about our local Spartan store. In a word, skeezy. It'll do if there's one or two things I need but don't want to go to Aldi or Sav-A-Lot to get. For big trips, I'll stick with the Kroger on Telegraph & W. Chicago or any one of the myriad Meijers I pass daily.
