On Friday, he bound his wife's feet and hands and strangled her. He left a bible by her body and there were signs of struggle on her part (obviously)

On Saturday, he smothered his son and left a bible by his body... his son was only 7 and had Fragile X Syndrome

Sometime Saturday evening or Sunday morning, he killed himself by hanging, he hung himself by a cord of his weight machine.

He sent a few text messages from both his and his wife's phone to two co-workers saying 4 times my address is and listing his address in the message and once saying where his dogs were and that the back door was open.

At first there were rumors that there had been a suicide note, but now the authorities are saying there was not. More than likely given the circumstances of the murders/suicide... there probably was a note, but based on the contents and privacy to the family / friends it is being "shoved under the rug" most likely for the better.

I'm just really, stunned, shocked, depressed, angry and all sorts of emotions are running through me over this. It's completely horrifying that anybody could do such a thing... especially someone that I respected as a great entertainer and athlete. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this tragedy.
