I am nothing, you are wind and water and wine? ...

an in joke from a dear friend who i have not seen in such a long time. those of you that know of the song 'unworthy of your love' from assassins, you will know the last word in the line is sky, not wine. and even though the friend thought wine was the real word and tried to cover up by saying he was joking, I have always felt that this word fits better anyhow. It describes real love better, it is more personal and more correct content for our freindship. wine is much more important to us than sky. a bottle of mojo (a lovely wine) is more bonding and ever lasting than sky. The sky is shared by everyone. Couple of bottels of mojo is sacred between friends.

I got a letter from my mummy today. It contained the funeral service card from my aunty margs funeral which i was unable to attend. I laughed with joy at the photo of her on the front, her smiling, holding a pack of cigarettes. She died of lung cancer from smoking but she never quit. Although I myself dont find the appeal of smoking it was one of her joys, same as football (afl) two things she didnt ever give up, that made her happy, til the day she died. love you marg xoxo
