Brother Ali is a really cool guy in person. I met him a few years back when he played the Living Room in Providence. I happened to be pissing at a urinal next to him when some jackass whipped out a camera phone and took his picture. I think the only reason Ali didn't beat the shit out of him was that it made for a really funny story; I'm still hoping he'll write a song about it one day.

Re: Cam, honestly I have (and liked most of) his very first album from 98 or 99. He took some thematic and artistic chances on there ("Me , My Moms, & Jimmy", "D Rugs", "Confessions of Fire") and it didn't sound like mainstream rapper album #4080. But I guess that was just a mirage, cause everything since then has been pure ass.
