The good is that I'm about to become an uncle again.
Close friends are having their 2nd girl later today. I love their first, this angel:
to no end, and I'm thinking that a 2nd one to spoil and tease is only going to be twice the fun. For me, that is. Raising kids in this day and age, the parents are screwed.
The other good is that I'm down to 207 lbs. This is the lightest I've been in years, especially since when I was diagnosted diabetic. No, I don't take insulin or medication, so yes, I'm quite lucky, and I've been taking some intense cardio classes that are the biggest reason for this progress. I believe I was going for 185 by Christmas, and now I'm looking more at 200 or under, but I think that may be a more realistic, and long-term plan.
All this is to build to say that some very bad news could be coming down the pike soon. My back is up against the wall, and there's going to be a lot of introspection for me. Very not
