Take a moment to remember that there's something important to celebrate and commemorate today. Sure, in a world where people can bond together over images of naked women with tattoos and piercings, diversity is embraced and there's no room for prejudice and discrimination, but its still out there, and there's always work to be done.

Been sick this weekend, sick as hell yo. The Girl's been taking incredible care of me, making soup, tea, and buying drugs and groceries for me. I of course am hugely thankful for this, but I'm also somewhat frustrated, because its effort and care like this that makes our so-called separation so complicated. You can't just walk away from someone who takes care of you like this.

Nor am I necessarily walking away, as I'm there for her, but man, I so want to get over this hump of ours, either move forward or move on. And the more I have to wait, the more I want to just move on.

On one hand, we're a good team that has a big problem which is not getting solved. Answer: stick with it. On the other hand, this big problem could also be a telltale sign that this just isn't going to work out. Answer: move on, no hard feelings.

Final analysis: who the hell knows?

In other news, the sun is going down in Cali:

. . . and Wendy, Fractal, Thursday, Jess, Kera are my favorite sets this week. Smokin', ladies.

Thanks. Yeah it may not be the same situation, but I'v elearned you can never compare one person's pain to anothers. Everyone takes things differently.

Re: Cam, honestly I have (and liked most of) his very first album from 98 or 99. He took some thematic and artistic chances on there ("Me , My Moms, & Jimmy", "D Rugs", "Confessions of Fire") and it didn't sound like mainstream rapper album #4080. But I guess that was just a mirage, cause everything since then has been pure ass. puke
