I guess drugs are coming popular in the schools again, especially with the local media. I watched a news segment on Wood-tv last night on my break. It told the story of how a perfect middle class girl with straight A's died from a heroin overdose sold by a black guy. This is big news because he pleaded guilty to it.
They later had an interview with the parents. I immediately thought about why she did heroin. Lets see, straight A student..excelled in everything. So Im guessing, not assuming, that there might have been some strict oppressive guidelines within that household to be perfect. So maybe she starts to realize how boring her life is and decided to hang out with the bad crowd. Then turns to drugs. Then she turns to, who else? a black kid to for the drugs. Maybe, just maybe, she was taught that all black kids sell drugs.
So what I am saying lets not point the finger to quickly. Also I got the impression the news segment was trying to say stay away from those black kids.
So I thought I might throw some insight to this...even if don't know what I am talking about. If you disagree let me know.
