The weather scratching
Autumn teetering
Soon all will totter toward the redundant
falling of the dead leaves
To soon the will of the moon covet the swamps
skeletal impendent toward crisp stars
glittering upon the black water
where silence is deep, not to be broken

Smoke the ashes of November my dear
Collect it all in your ragged brown
Observe all the natural dusk descending
cry with tears running cold
for all the birds die harvesting the dead

blowing decorative smoke from kindling

combustible fiery
