Sunday nights can be so much fun! I had a blast with my friend...and the Sleater-Kinney show was amazing!!! (as always) They played all kinds of new wonderful songs from their upcoming release. And the other bands that played were good too...Neon Panda from Olympia...and V for Vendetta from Providence, Rhode Island....both very good too. It was so nice to catch up with a good friend, a best friend actually. She makes me feel so wonderful. Anyway, I drove home really late last night and got home around 1:30am...ok, I guess it's not that late, but it's late for a work night. Then, when I rolled into town...after having all kinds of car trouble on the way home...I got fucking pulled over!!!! You have no idea how pissed off I was at this point. And on top of it he didn't buy my excuse...which was actually not an excuse at all but the truth if you can imagine. He proceeded to give me a $86 ticket. Which I guess isn't that bad...but it is my first ticket....(which is honestly a miracle in itself) I hope my insurance doesn't go up too much. Anyway, the weekend was altoghether pretty good. Despite a few bumps, I had a happy Monday.
