i've absolutely horrid at responding to jouranl entries!!! mostly because i don't have internet connection at my new palace at the moment. that i'm working on, hopefully it won't be too long until i do. so right now, i'm at this little internet cafe...that just happens to serve the most amazing grilled veggie sandwich. they have been my afterwork home away from home for about a half hour every day.
the job is up and running, and i'm finally starting to get settled into my new pad...although most of my things are still on the other side of the city, must do something about that very soon. i'm enjoying my job more than ever...it makes me smile, and although i go home exhausted and turn in early almost every nite, i feel good.
my set finally went up, yay!! and thank you so so so fucking much for all the lovely wonderful comments and sweet words. it really means a lot to me that my hard work (as well as my photographer's hard work) is appreciated. i'm always so happy when my ideas go over well.
anyway, thank you so much for your words, i will try to make the journal rounds as soon as things are sorted with my home.
nothing big to report. i'm starting to get into a routine here in london, as you may have gathered. but i very much need an evening out with the sguk kids. hopefully that won't be too far off. i have to 'meet the parents' soon
i'm a bit frightened, but i usually do well in those sorts of situations. hopefully they'll like me anyhow, that always scares me.
i've done away with my red hair...but i'm missing it desperately so i may try to bring it back a little...we'll see if i can undo the black damage i've done to the lovely red. *sigh*
i guess i'd better head home, wanna make dinner and sit in front of the tv with the lovley brother and sister cats that inhabit my new home. they make me so happy...sister..as i call her came meowing to my door this morning, it was so sweet. i let her in and she just rolled around on the floor and wandered around while i got ready for work. it's nice to have a little bit of company.
