ok, away with the frightening two headed baby, i couldn't look at it any longer. if you unerstood my sense of humour, you might've giggled at it, but for the majority of you who don't know me....i apologize, i'm a sick individual.

-started my day w/ a half pint of chocolate truffle ice cream
-went to the gym, came home and napped
-i've been cleaning and re-arranging my kitchen for the last two hours, listening to the shins, the white stripes & some other uplifting, motivating music.
-sitting on my ass right now with a kitty in my lap, i guess they're just now realizing i'm home after being absent for 10 days. i wonder if they even realized i was gone?
-i'm in love for the first time in years, head over fucking heels if you will. sadly, he's thousands of miles away this absence won't last for long, luckily.
-i have a lovely three days off work, i'm going to totally clean my house, work on some art, and try to be as productive as possible, i have a lot of shit to get in order.
-pink is my new favourite color, red will take a backseat for a week or two until i decide i miss it. but my hair...that is red & black right now....will turn into pink and black for a short time. i'm so fickle when it comes to my hair and i need a change eventhough i love the red.
-a good friend of mine just sent me two mix cd's that i've been sinking my teeth into for the past few days, they're great, and i love getting new music. always makes me happy to be exposed to new stuff that i'm not usually.
-missing my new friends already, it's sad coming from a place where you find so much love from so many great people, back to a lonely town with few people you feel close to. a difficult adjustment.
-i need to start reading a new book, just finished one, anyone have any good suggestions for something smart and fast paced???
-finally saw lost in translation on my flight home from london, fucking great film. restores some faith in the american film industry, sadly, there are very few films of this magnitude coming out of this country.

alright, enough babble for one weekend. aside from work, this last week has been supremely uneventful...such is life in portland. i am very much looking forward to march 12th though, quasi, the thermals, the swords project & the minders @ the crystal, only 6 bones kiddies!!! fuck yeah, i'll be there with bells on. anyone know of any other good shows coming up here in pdx????
