finally, a good night's sleep. i am so relieved i can't even begin to tell you. i feel so much better. it did however take two gin & tonic's on an empty stomach, but that's besides the point.
in other news, i saw a very very odd thing yesterday while waiting for my bus to come and get me from school. i was standing down on naito & harrison (for reference of any pdxers) and people were getting pulled over left and right by little cops on their motorbikes. they kept pulling into the same little street, and pulling people over as they'd speed by. clever right??? i suppose, how about bored as fuck with nothing better to do on a thursday afternoon. well then i started to notice them pulling people over who weren't yielding correctly to pedestrians. ok, fair enough i guess, until i realized that they'd pulled over a total of four non-yielders in about five minutes!!! some guy, was standing around, he kept walking back and forth on the cross walk when he'd notice traffic was getting thicker, until he'd snag people that didn't yield properly!!!!!! what the fuck!!!!!!! that can't be legal. seriously.
on top of that, there was this black mercedes that kept passing me and turning at the same place, i swear there were different drivers each time, but it fucked with my head. deja vu??? i don't know, it felt that way.
lazy friday you are my friend i'm down to the tail end of my holiday, it's been nice to relax, i'm going to try to enjoy my last shred of relaxation before the christmas madness arrives!!!
