i'll drown in your eyes
far away from myself
and my own
your face quiets my soul
and soothes my tears
my eyes burn into you
and i cannot resist
to climb inside of your mind
and curl up to sleep
as you breathe i feel you
and we breahte as one
i stumble in deep
never crawl out
i lose myself in you
and away in your arms
you carry me
i'll drown in your eyes

you defy me constantly
my dear mouth
why can't you stay shut
and eyes
close to my needs, for they are out of my head
completely
selfish girl i have become
and now, i can't turn back
i have gone too far
and even my own feet won't carry me far enough away
to save me
from the doing of my own hands
thank you sweet lips
draw me in closer
embrace my heart and
never let go.

Definitely some good writing going on here. Isn't it crazy how all our best inspirations come at times of trouble? Ever tried to write a great poem when things couldn't be better? Well maybe you have and it's just me, but it seems like I have writer's block when I'm happiest.
