the days grow long and the nights grow cold
my thoughts are waning
and i can hardly breathe
without him near i wonder if i will last
much longer on my own
inside his eyes i'm alive
and i can reach myself deeper than ever
before
but without him near i'm not sure
if the days will continue this way
