When I say this, I refer to the world in general. Obviously if you have friends or family that were affected, then yes it is truly a sad thing and hopefully live can be rebuilt. And no I am not "happy" this happened. But what I have to say really isn't an opinionated statement. So there is my disclaimer.


My heart goes out for the Haitians and those affected. And yes I already donated monies.. But tell me, why the world only cares, and only for a short while about a people, or country when a huge natural disaster strikes? Haiti was fucked up beforehand, and no one gave a flip. And we still have slavery, genocide, and other things happening, and yet the world sits by, and sometimes, outright denies that it happens? Ahh disaster relief, you are like the flavor of the month
