I really should be doing homework..Fuck it that is what Saturday afternoons are for.

I am in the military, ad though I don't compare myself anywhere near the level on what most warfighters are/have been, I am a veteran. That said, I had someone say "Happy Veteran's day" to me This annoyed me. See...Veteran's day is about reflection and appreciation to our living and dead brothers and sisters in arms, much like Memorial day (Another holiday that irks me when people add the word happy, in front of it.)

I short. I am glad for the appreciation we military receive overall. I really am. But don't wish a "Happy" Veteran's or Memorial day... That's just stupid.

And further thought lead me to this thought... We sacrifice a LOT overall. And yet, while we get thanks, its the rockstars and tattoo artists that are getting laid...
