making a fire is fun. unless you use too much tiki torch fuel on the wood (I ran out of kindling, and I was impatient) and damn near blow yourself up (I fell out of chair from flame wave)

I slept 17 hours straight, with no drugs or alcohol to help.. That..is just not..fucking normal.
Saturday was my official 5 year anniversary of being single!! Woot!
I found a baby snake the other day. I am usually good with IDing snakes, but babies are hard. I think it was a brown snake, or a rat snake. He didn't like me playing with him though and tried to bite me, and I wasn't about to bet on my opinion that he wasn't venomous.
Once you begin to realize exactly the quality of your attachments, they don't hurt as much as they could in the long term. I often wonder what would of happened if I stayed in the desert even longer, how many more would of distanced themselves. What makes it even more interesting is the lack of people's ability to acknowledge such lacking on their part, or to just end it cleanly and without bad blood. Cowards I say, cowards!!!
What the kicker is I tend to get blamed. PFt. Ever look in the mirror? You bit my hand, not the other way around.
And it's ok. I am finding the variable of passing friendships is simply giving me more focus on my world.
And to be fair. I gave way more than I received. And that's not even fun in oral sex. I will be a man whore, but I won't be an emotional/financial whore.
I won't forget the times I was there for the significant other cheating, cheating on the significant other cheating, the abortions, the rape, the abuse, the drugs, the car wrecks, the deaths, the births, the birthdays, the holidays, the money lending, the gifts, the joys and hates of life, the rantings, the road trips, the concerts, the fights, the make ups. etc. Man life can be a bitch of colors can't it?
