I get off work, I come home I walk in my room it is only 8:08 am...AND IT IS GOD DAMN FUCKING COCKSUCKING 82 DEGREES IN HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What am I, a fucking lizard?!!?! When will they fix our AC?!

Perhaps it is to get me ready for Iraq, but that means it is supposed to be hot OUTSIDE, and nice and cool INSIDE where I live.

So I was whined at to put my name meaning up. fine. YOU BETTER READ THIS SINCE I AM TAKING THE TIME TO TYPE IT. However the last paragraph is the most interesting overall.

Scots surnames fall into two quite distinctive linguistic groups: those of Gaelic or English origin. The Gaelic language was brought to Scotland from Ireland in the fifth century. Displacing the British language, which was an early form of Welsh, previously spoken there as well as elsewhere.

Gaelic was the main language of that of the part of Scotland not subject to English influence a rather more extensive area then the present day Highlands and Islands, where Gaelic still survives in places. Like their irish kinsmen, Gaelic-speaking Scots were forced to seek emigration in large numbers by many factors: defeat and discrimination after the rebellion of 1745, famine, and above all, clearences of the whole population by rapacious landlords during the nineteeth century, and there are now more Gaelic speakers in Eastern Canada than Scotland

There is much confusion over the names of McCroskey, McCroskie and MacCoskry, deriving from the Gaelic "MacGhosgrach", denoting "the son of Coscrach". revealed the patronymic origin of the name.

Among the earliest written references to the name or a variant form, we read of one called Alan MacCroskie who was a tenant in the parish of Sennick in the year 1684. The name appears to have been introduced into America in the person of James McCroskey who emigrated from Scotland to New York in 1812, at the age of twenty-six years, followed ten years later by Michael McCroskery who also arrived in New York.

The predominant family in the locality of the McCroskeys would have been the Napiers, and it was customary for the strongest to offer patronage and protection to the smaller and weaker families, which included the use of arms and tartans. There would have been no doubt that the McCroskey family would have availed themselves of this facility.
