Yesterday was scary as fuck!!! My boyfriend and his mom and I went to eat when we got outside it looked the end of the world. The sky was black, rain was coming down in buckets and the wind was screaming. We were navigating well trying to thru the streets of downtown Cedar Rapids when the sirens went off, so we decided to go shopping and wait it out so were shopping and Best Buy loses power then the backup generators kick off and the world was dead ass silent and I was trying to get thru it without having a heart attack, but my heart did stop. So I was trying to find some type of humor to distract me so we were gonna shop in the dark then they needed everyone 2 the front of the store my heart stopped again. It wasnt bad outside so we left and then we stopped to get gas and a lightning bolt came down about 3 feet from my boyfriend, I thought he was going to die. It was a pretty frightening day and Im just thats its over and we got home safe. I just never want to be that scared again.
