Meu braço esquerdo é imaginário.

I'm working on my art book and learning how to edit it. It's hard but I feel proud of making it. I loved making the art for it but the editing can be boring.

So many great moments in mistakes. I feel the Black Sun in my eyes. Burning holes from my chest to my feet. I'm having a depressed day. It always happens before a big day like a birthday or an anniversary. It's like my body needs to make room for more happiness. Seeing it happen and knowing doesn't lessen the feel for some...

What do you get when you take two introverts and go on a beach trip with three very outgoing people? Bluejays in a murder.

As a 56 year old short fat introvert who is extremely physically self conscious and does not swim . . . I ain't goin!  You kids have fun.  Listening to people saying, "oh, that poor thing!", as they keep trying to roll me back into the water is NOT my idea of a good time.

@glass42 It was nice but I think I'm in love with my studio and all my paper more than the ocean these days.

Hi

Busy making but trying to make some new videos. I just finished painting everything from my book so I can record some new stuff.

I love the intense color in this and I find the face of the little girl captivating.  Thanks for mentioning some of the reason why you like the crows.  I had been wondering about about their reoccurring value.  Since crows have so much symbolism attached to them, I'm not totally surprised to see that they might show up in some work of almost any artist.  On the contrary, seeing bison in some of your work does surprise me a lot.  I don't think of that animal as having any particular role in the history of Baltimore, or in your ethnic history.  I've been thinking about this for quite awhile (maybe that just proves I need to get a life).  What is the bison representing in your paintings?
jaws318:
@glass42 I love how the colors pop in this one too. The crows are always in my mind when I paint. The bison, on the other hand, feels to me more like a representation of the strength to face fears. I love that I paint things that make you wonder. Makes me feel like I'm doing a good job.

I have a few projects I'm about to start for teamups with other artists I know in fashion. Should be good.

Painter Files Podcast ep 36

I'm always trying to make these podcasts fun. I was under a lot of stress last week so I took longer to publish.
