Deeply madly
Deeply madly wanting to feel the sounds better.
I'm a mumbler.
I have always been a mumbler. It is in some way a connection to my painting. I think I'm trying to be more visual than verbal. Which is hard because I'm alive and not in contact with the rest of the living world via clues. So I have to learn to open my mouth more when I talk. It is a grumpy lesson to learn in your 30's.
I remember being a young kid and trying to figure out how to go the day without words and then a week and then a month. I normally was forced to talk before breakfast by my mom and have to start over the next day. I was most successful in the summers. I would use body language to interact with my cat. I would write things on sticky notes and walk everywhere. I never counted laughter.
I remember leaving a note in Portuguese on people's mailboxes. They must have thought I was insane in Charlotte, NC.
