My friends are away -- vacationing, travelling for work, etc. It's quiet here without them though sometimes I enjoy the private time that falls into my lap. I should use this opportunity to write but that big, ugly block is still preventing anything clever from developing into prose. So, instead I'll probably drink beer, watch baseball and hope a Suicide Girl knocks on my door.

Honestly, it makes me happy to hear about how proud parents are of their children. I'm totally looking forward to being a parent someday and doing the same.
