Going into a long holiday weekend and there's something special about the 4th of July. Maybe it's the fact that it's free and easy summer -- sunny skies, hot temperatures and cold beer. Or maybe it's the excitement of travel and vacations. Perhaps it's the opportunity to hook up with family and friends. Or, permit me to be corny, it's the celebration of some bad-ass revolutionaries kicking some British butts 200-plus years ago.

Whatever it is, I love this holiday and I wish all a happy and safe 4th.
