I'm discovering that many, if not most, of my favorite SuicideGirls and Friends of SuicideGirls are either gay or bisexual. I'm not sure why that is, though perhaps it makes sense: Over the years, I have had many lesbian and bi friends. At the risk of generalizing, I find them more interesting and creative than many of the other women with whom I am acquainted.

I guess I am -- I am proud to say -- a Friend of the Lesbian!
