Well, today its 5 years since I met Ally & we got together. So I thought I'd blog the tale of how we met. 
It all started with a post on a VW forum asking who was going from down south to Bug Jam at Santa Pod.
I was already going in my Beetle,along with a friend,Karen in her Beetle.
So we all arranged to met up en route & drive together.
And this it when it all went wrong!!!
My car decided that it didnt want to run & kept cutting out on me,& every time I stopped,everyone else had to stop.
Unbeknown to me Ally had taken a liking to me & was taking pics of my bum everytime I was looking at my engine! (She got ALOT of pics!).
It got to the point where I told the others to go on without me & Id catch up.So off they all went.
Fortunatly I managed to met with some of the guys in my club whilst parked in a petrol station & together we got my car running & rolled up in convoy to BugJam somewhat later than planned.
I got parked up & went to find Karen & Ally. We all had a few drinks & Ally said she was going back to her van to go to bed,I walked with her, she got in & made comments along the lines of 'its very comfy & warm'.
I went 'Oh ok.Night!' & shut the door & left. DOH!!!
Next day was terrible weather & I was hiding in my tent,when Ally texted me did I want to join her in her nice dry van. I declined! Again DOHH!!!
So, she tried a new tactic,did I want food? I was there in a shot
Anyway,we then spent the whole weekend together,even driving back in convoy.
And now,5 years later we've hardly been apart,married for nearly 3 years & have a wonderful 14mth old son
