I've had the worst week in my managment career (mainly due to an employee's ethics issue). However, in terms of SG, this has been a wonderful week. To have both AL and Morgan sets go up, as well as the introduction of HIbiskiss. These beautiful women really make things much brighter.
Finally back at home after weeks of travel. It's nice to sleep in my own bed, but it sucks that the backyard is a jungle of weeds and grass (and not the interesting kind). Also, the damn bluebells are popping up in the sod in the front yard...that just went in last summer.
Saw Interpol the other night, and they were amazing. They filled the room with great sound, and generally tight show. The Blonde Redheads opened for them--they were entertaining although the female vocalist's voice was a bit of a surprise.
2nd week of the detox diet (helps determine and alleviate food allergies which my wife has numerous) and I'm still surviving. No cafffiene, no alcohol. and a lot of quinoa.
What sucks is that I'm headed out to the east coast and I can't enjoy my favorites, and my weekends are really dull.

I don't think I'll be home much this January.. Next week alone I'll be gone 5 nights, but in different places. Neither the missus nor the weiners will be happy about this.
Finally, I get to take the rest of the year off...Now for a quick trip to the Bay Area.
It's been a week and I'm still sick....

I'm still cleaning up.

Saw Laibach last night and it was amazing. It was an early show, but it worked out great since I got home at a civilized hour. Normally this wouldn't be a requirement, but my mother is in town and my wife volunteered to entertain her for the evening.
Nobody died, yet.

Not a good day for this country.
Laibach is coming to Seattle!
grimjack:
Laibach is the shit. They're playing here in Philly as well. Their 'Let it Be' Beatles cover album is the bomb. Plus, 'Life is Life'. Gots to love Eastern Europeans!
More travel for work this week, next week, and the following week. Looks like I'll make that next level of the mileage plan.
