Went to SF two night ago and saw one of the most amazing bands in history..HELMET!!! im not sure if lots of ya know who they were but they were one of the first bands around the early 90's to start the hard rock sound we notice in alot of the bands we hear today.if any of you have the crow soundtrack and payed attention to a track called milktoast..thats them.my ears are still ringing..thats how loud it was.basically was up in front the whole time singing my head off and my voice is kinda shot and raspy a bit but it was well worth it.i happend to grab thier set list,a pick,and a drumstick from the show...yep it was a good night.here are some pics i took,not the best but didn't want to drop the camera in the crowd.need to start going to more shows often,haven't been to hardley any since i came back from canada a few months ago.i figured out im going to go glam rock for halloween this year and my band is going to play a series of parties friday throughout saturday so im really stocked.well time to watch Aqua Teen Hunger Force since i bought vol.2 on dvd.ohhh and also be sure to rent the new version of Dawn Of the Dead or hell buy it,really fucking awesome zombie flick.
