Busy, mixed weekend. On Friday Mike's girlfriend was out of town and he had bought her a ticket to a diner show, so Mike grabbed me and we went instead. However this wasn't an ordinary dinner theater, but rather a Pirate Murder Mystery. Lot's of audience participation and humor here. And considering Mike bought the tickets, I got a free dinner and pretty good show....

The funeral was last Friday. It was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. I'd do it again in an instant but I wouldn't wish that sort of pain on anyone. I really am impressed with him...as well as the others serving our country. Those men and women really have patriotic pride. My cousin (the Marine) had served over in Baghdad when war broke out....he was there for several months. His time was coming up for leaving the military. However they just got the call that his platoon would be going back overseas to fight. He decided that he wanted to re-enlist and go back over.....he said that he couldn't leave his boys...knowing what goes on over there. After much much persuading from our entire family he decided to leave. We told him he had served his time and his country. I'm really proud of him....as well as your cousin.
I'm really sorry. My condolenses go out to you and your family.

My cousin Joe was killed in Iraq. He was riding in a humvee and sniper took him out. Don't many details right now. We don't know when when the funeral will be. Right now I'm just feeling miserable.
