Finally got to see Pitch Black last night. Not a bad little flick. Nothing particularly new for the genre of survival horror (it's essentially Alien/Aliens all over again), but I loved the character of Riddick, so I can't wait for the Chronicles of Riddick to come out. Also nerd points for the movie having Keith David in it as Imam al-Walid. But I'm a Gargoyles fanboy, so all movies with Keith David make me smile a little, yes even "Men at Work."
Mike also rented Scary Movie 3, so I'll probably watch that tonight. And I keep meaning to go buy Bubba Ho-tep, but money's a little tight. I can swing it, but I noticed my brakes on my car seem a little less responsive. The car barely has over 2000 miles, so it should be covered by the warranty, but I'm afraid they'll say it's not and I have to cough up the cash. And considering I have no clue as to how much it will take to repair if it comes out of my pocket, visions of overdraft charges dance in my head.

Yeah I thought Pitch Black was awesome even tho I am not a fan of that ugly musclehead Vin Deisel. I'm afraid the sequel is going to blow. I hear Bubba Ho-tep is good, I'm waiting for netflix to send it.....something about a long wait on it tho. I had my breaks repaired about 2 months ago, I think it was a little over $100. -Depending on what's wrong with yours (I'm sure it was the same problem as mine....I mean how many things can go wrong with breaks?)
