Gah, I spent a lot of money today. Today I took care of all my closest friends.

Mike: He got a Star Wars action figure. The cheapest of the gifts so far, but Mike owes me a lot of money and me getting my own place is allowing me for the first time in years to get everyone a little something, so I feel no need to take away from others so that he's even with them. Besides, Greg has said he plans on getting him Star Wars: Battlefront 2 for the X-Box, so I know Mike's going to have plenty to keep him happy.

Greg: Greg was the hardest to buy for, because he can be very picky and bores easily. I ended up getting him a used copy of Mercenaries for X-Box (he just bought the system). I figure he'll enjoy it or he can trade it in and get something he wants. It's got enough explosions and lots of various goals to keep him entertained for a little while.

Tim & Mandy: They got the most expensive gift, but since they're a couple I'm buying one gift for two people, so I kinda win out on this one. I ordered them a book that collects the first story arc from my favorite webcomic The Order of the Stick. I just hope the book comes out before Christmas, as it apparently was supposed to be released on 11/15 and still says preorder on the website.

Now all is left is the family. Bro is taken care of. Scott's getting a 1GB flash memory stick like he asked for.

Dad, since he's retiring this year, I'm going to try to find him a book on retirement. I saw a few on Amazon that looked interesting, but I think I'll check out Waldenbooks on my lunch break on Monday. I'm hoping for something that's a little humorous, but might have some good info in it also.

Mom's usually not that hard to buy for, because she'll usually tell me if she wants something specific, but hasn't so far. I still have time, but I'm not a last minute shopper. I want everything wrapped by the middle of the month. So I'll probably have to hassle her.

Gah, it's hard to believe it's December already, feels like Thanksgiving was yesterday. But it feels good knowing I will be able to give my friends a little something without breaking the bank this year.
