I try to seduce the heart and mind with art. I am excited to say that very soon I will be tattooing full time in a studio again! Long story short; basically because of a constant struggle in life for my also tattoo artist boyfriend and myself I had to financially support us both through the past year. Having a few horrible housemates who I once considered friends leaving on bad terms and owing me money didn't help. I had to get a full time contract job which thankfully was as a full time body piercer. I still got to penetrate people ;) and even though I love body piercing it is my dream and goal to be a full time artist and tattoo artist. But as everyone in the art industry knows... the struggle is indeed real. Unfortunately this meant I had to put my art and tattoo work aside for the meantime. The place where I work have three tattoo studios throughout Australia so I was hoping that they would notice my hard work and dedication and eventually move me to their tattoo studio. In due time of course as I needed the consistent income. So I was finally at my one year mark of working for my company and it was my goal to pay off as much debts as possible in that year then return to being an artist. However as I seemed to get deeper and deeper into debt I decided to take the next step anyway, take a leap of faith and hope that my hard work, dedication and passion would pay off. I had applied a few times to move to the tattoo studios, and over a few months of hearing nothing I was starting to despair and think that I was better off finding tattoo work elsewhere. After I had a series of interesting and strange dreams my instincts told me to wait a little bit longer. So finally I got the call from head office that I was too be moved to their new studio and will become a full time artist!! I am so happy! Unfortunately lately when I have tried to upload photos off my phone it glitches so I can't upload pics directly from my phone. But anyway here is a few of my artwork that I have done over the years. I will upload the rest later alongside my tattoo work. I hope you all enjoy me sharing my passion with you.
