I tend to ramble a lot and I have a very active inner monologue so it all comes out in my blogs. Like do people know they should be actually be passing someone to be in the PASSING lane? C’mon people.
I digress.
There’s one question that bothers me more than “oh did it hurt when you got your tattoos?” and that’s “why are you a vegetarian?”
Everyone has his or her reasons and there are a lot of us out there so it really isn’t that dumb of a question, but I’m interested what everyone’s thoughts on the matter is. I’ve been meat and fish free for a little over two years and I do it mainly because I don’t like putting unnatural ingredients in my body.
Mass produced meat is so chock full of growth hormones, antibiotics, dyes, and a host of other ingredients other than the meat itself that it makes me nauseous thinking about it. I’ve also been known to ruin sushi for people (sorry!)
If there are any other vegetarians out there, does this question annoy you and what do you say when people ask you?
