So, last week Friday my sister (one year younger than me) had a massive stroke. Her husband called me to let me know. She is still in a coma, and the doctor said that her heart is very weak. They said that it's about 50/50 of her coming out of this, and if she does come out, she has suffered some brain damage.
I am worried about her. We were never really close; I haven't seen her in over a year, even though her house is only about a mile away. Yeah, I know, I could take the initiative and go over there, but, like I said, we aren't close.
I'm trying my damndest to get some work done, but I keep worrying about my sister. I don't want to bury another family member. My nephew died several years ago, and both my mother and father died within a year of each other. That was about 5 years ago.
I don't know why I'm posting this, to be honest. I'm in a 'need someone to talk to' kind of mood. Being able to post this seems to help a little.
