OK, here it is, Christmas Eve. I'm sitting alone, typing on the computer and doing some building.
There are no decorations here in the house--I kinda stopped doing that years ago. My Christmas habit for years was to sit with only the lights of the Christmas tree on, looking at the snow outside and sipping a snifter of Brandy. As I no longer drink alcohol (long story--nothing bad, I promise) I have to come up with a new habit. Tomorrow, a good part of the day will be taken up at my lady's parents house, opening the few gifts they remembered to purchase for me, eating too much food, and then going home and probably taking a nap.
Christmas is not my favorite holiday. In fact, it's one of my least favorite. I'm not sure why... it just stopped being fun years ago.
But still, it is a time of celebration for many people, so I say to everyone out there, Have a happy and a merry 'whatever-religion-you-are-or-not!'
