Does anyone have any idea how to get really smelly shoes de-oderized?

Spray a 50/50 water/vinegar mixture on newspaper until damp. Crumple up said newspaper and wad into shoes. Leave overnight or until dry. Remove newspaper and let shoes dry and air out. Another couple of hours and body and vinegar odour should be gone.
